Day 16: New Pacer

I hired a new pacer today. I had the tiniest bit of knee pain and for sure HAD to go slow and HAD to go only a mile. I needed to enlist some help to accomplish this goal. 

My pacer was my oldest daughter. She is a water mammal, not a land mammal. She is not a runner, but a swimmer. 

However, she was a great pacer. She ran slow just like I needed and she chattered my ear off the whole time. I heard all the fun of what is happening at school. I'll never get enough of these moments, just one on one with one of my kids. They are the times I'll always remember. 

If she wants the position, the job's permanently hers.
